Margi's Tasting Notes
2006
Russian River Valley
Reserve
Pinot Noir
Aged in 50% new French oak for 15 months.
Medium to dark garnet color, very Burgundian aromas in the nose with cherries, earth and vanilla.
Flavors of strawberries, cola and black cherries follow through into the finish. Nice acidity and very balanced wine.
This is a blend of one selected barrel each of the fall-released vineyard designates.
