Unfined, unfiltered, and aged in 100% French oak, this wine is deep purple, almost inky.

The intensity of fruit in the nose is the perfume of dried cherry, earth, and cocoa, with a hint of game.

The flavors are full, with berries and cocoa following through. The flavors are mouth-feeling, with a rich entry and a lingering berry finish.

This is a beautiful Syrah and will surprise many.

Small production. We did not make a Syrah in 2004, but will have a couple in 2005.

Drinks beautifully now but will benefit from 3 years of aging.
