2003
Summa Vineyard
Pinot Noir
Sonoma Coast
Unfined and unfiltered, aged in 75% new French oak and used one
and two year oak.
We
had very small production this year, and expect that it is as
concentrated as it will get.
I
find the exotic characteristics of this wine match well with Asian
inspired duck and pork dishes.
Dark
garnet colored, with the forward aromas of black raspberries and
Asian spices and a hint of orange rinds follow through into the
flavors, with a rich and long lingering aftertaste of berries.
Very
limited production.
